NSN's construction site never sleeps in 10°C cold
In the final days of the year in Phu Tho province, night-time temperatures drop to around 10°C, and cold mist covers the construction site of the F&B project, which has a total site area of over 40,000 m², a building footprint of 8,960 m², and a total gross floor area of 17,635 m². The project also includes auxiliary facilities such as a parking area, boiler house, electrical and water pumping station, and a wastewater treatment plant.

For an industrial construction project, the final concrete pour is an important milestone, marking the result of months of on-site dedication, overcoming harsh weather, and continuous work by engineers and workers. It also affirms the capability of a leading contractor. This stage takes place close to the Lunar New Year peak period, when many big projects are being implemented in parallel. Workforce mobilization faces various challenges, while schedule pressure is high and requirements for quality and safety cannot be reduced.
Amid the cold mist, visible breaths turn into thin vapor, and the sounds of concrete pumps and construction equipment run steadily. There is not only scheduled pressure but also a clear sense of responsibility. Some NSN engineers proactively stay overnight to monitor the work, while crews arrange flexible shifts to keep activities uninterrupted. Each person holds a different role but shares one goal: doing it right from the beginning.
People outside the construction industry often see only the hardship. Behind that hardship, however, are discipline and the professional construction management capability of an experienced industrial contractor. For NSN, each construction site is not only a place to complete work volume but also a place to demonstrate credibility to investors, especially FDI clients with high requirements for standards and safety.
From cold nights like these, solid foundations are formed. From those foundations, the value of the facility is assured after many years of operation, and NSN’s trust is maintained. That is also how NSN pursues the philosophy of “Creating sustainable values,” not through slogans, but through concrete actions.
