Unlike the reality TV show featuring 33 famous men from music, film, and sports, which airs every Saturday night on VTV, NSN's reality show "Call Me By Fire" takes place on a daily, hourly basis, with the participation of hundreds of engineers and workers who work tirelessly on windy, sunny construction sites.
Challenge 1 is the bad weather. Engineers and workers frequently work in the weather, whether hot or cold, rain or shine. Behind the scenes of beautiful buildings and factories are their hidden contributions, unwavering dedication, and youthful sacrifices.
Challenge 2 is constantly on the move.
Engineers and workers have a nomadic life. Their desire to remain near family is frequently considered a luxury. Some projects are nearby, while others take them far away, to the south, north, or even overseas. Trips can last days, months, or even years.
Having colleagues by their side helps them get through these times away from home.
Challenge 3 is a language barrier.
NSN's partner engineers are from a variety of nations, including China, Malaysia, India, and Japan. English is the primary language used for the project. Occasionally, multiple languages - Chinese, English, Vietnamese, and Hindi - are spoken at the same time, as well as "body language," to ensure comprehension of each other.
Challenge 4 is D-I-Y.
Even though there are all men at the construction site, life is very neat and simple. The team shares duties, supporting each other after busy days on the site.
Mr. Thach Hoang Ngoc, NSN General Director, shared, “It’s not important what we do; what matters is doing work we love. Moreover, a working environment that feels like home brings us happiness. Feeling joyful means that we are constantly inspired and never give up."Thus, creating a positive working environment for all employees will continue to be the top priority in NSN's future development.
