The Opening Ceremony of the NSN's Traditional Football Tournament was held on November 5 at Hanel Football Stadium, Lane 184 Thach Ban Street, Long Bien District, to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the establishment of NSN Construction & Engineering JSC. Nearly 100 athletes from six teams participated in the competition, along with NSN's employees, BOD, and guests. 

NSN Cup is organized to develop and promote the sports training movement among NSN employees. It is also an opportunity for employees at projects to gather, exchange, and learn from each other, thereby contributing to improving solidarity and spiritual quality and supporting the coordination of handling professional tasks. 

For the tournament to achieve the set goals and meanings, the Head of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, emphasized, "The 21st year of the company is the most mature and perfect time for a young man. I hope this will be a competition with many beautiful goals, good plays, a spirit of solidarity, and help each employee have good health."

The innovation of this season is that the qualifying round draw will be held directly in the opening ceremony. According to the draw results, Group A has the participation of 3 teams: Phieu NSN, Base NSN, and Gunner NSN. The remaining 3 teams are Muddy Bear NSN, Eagle NSN, and Phoenix NSN, who will be in Group B. 

Player Nguyen Viet Dung from the "Muddy Bear NSN" football team, representing all teams, shares: "The players participating in today's NSN Cup football tournament, declare to play with a noble and beautiful spirit; respect teammates and opponents; dedicate and do our best; comply with the regulations of the organizing committee and referee team; determined to dedicate ourselves to a successful tournament."

Following the Opening Ceremony, the tournament began in Group A with an extremely heated battle between two teams: Gunner NSN and Phieu NSN. Despite the sudden heavy rain, both teams entered the field with a strong desire to win the opening match. After more than 60 minutes, Phieu NSN won the match 2-0. 

The opening match of Group B between Eagles NSN and Muddy Bears NSN was dramatic with fierce plays from both teams. Highly appreciated for its strong squad, rich experience, and the expectation of winning the championship, Muddy Bear NSN entered the match with a high spirit of determination. However, the opponent Eagle NSN was well-known for its disciplined and difficult playing style, bringing a big challenge to the Muddy Bear NSN and bringing about a 2-0 final victory. 

Not bringing victory in the first match, but the Muddy Bears and NSN Gunners are still opponents that cannot be taken lightly. The two teams still have a chance to advance to the next round if they do well in their next match. The battle to the semi-finals is continuing, with many exciting developments expected.
