On the morning of October 6, at the Cultural Center of Gia Lam District, in response to the call to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2024) and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2024), NSN Construction and Engineering JSC participated in the Zumba and Folk Dance Competition for labors in Gia Lam District 2024, organized by the Gia Lam District Labor Federation.

The competition featured 24 teams with over 300 athletes, including officials, union members, and workers from various agencies, units, and enterprises in Gia Lam District. The competing teams showcased their talents through Zumba and folk dance performances set to lively, upbeat music of their choice. 

All performances were meticulously choreographed and creatively staged, with careful attention to costumes and props. Notably, the dances were performed to songs celebrating the glorious party, the great Uncle Ho, the beautiful homeland and country, the heroic capital, and themes of love for life, work, romantic relationships, the beauty of Vietnamese women, various professions, and the labor union, evoking deep emotions among the audience. 

The NSN team contributed a Zumba performance set to the song “One Round Vietnam”. The athletes gave their all on stage with dynamic, powerful yet graceful movements, demonstrating excellent coordination and rhythm among team members, delivering a visually stunning and impressive performance that filled the competition with energy. 

Although the team did not win a prize, their performance on stage showcased that NSN employees are not only skilled professionals who strive to work effectively but also passionate “amateur artists” with a flair for culture, art, and sports, enriching their spiritual lives.

The competition can be said to have been a resounding success, truly becoming a healthy and beneficial playground for NSN employees and other agencies, units, and enterprises in the district to interact, learn from each other, and strengthen solidarity and bonding. This event also aims to promote the comprehensive development of culture, sports, and aesthetics for union members and workers, providing an opportunity for them to shine and express their cultural and artistic talents, thereby enhancing their spiritual lives and renewing their energy to better accomplish their assigned tasks, contributing to the comprehensive development of their agencies, units, and enterprises.
