Unlocking inner potential and accelerating growth: NSN hosts two strategic workshops for leaders and key personnel
In NSN's journey towards sustainable development and a human-centered, professional work environment, NSN has always prioritized people. The two recent internal workshops, held on June 21 and 24, 2025, demonstrate NSN's continuous commitment to improving the capabilities, mindset, and leadership of the leader team.
Professionalizing interviews from the first step
The first workshop, titled “Interview Skills for Managers,” took place on the afternoon of June 21, 2025, and created an atmosphere of energy, passion, and deep relevance to NSN's real-life hiring circumstances. Led by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Phong Lan, an expert from Kosaido HR Vietnam, the workshop guided participants through a revolutionary viewpoint on recruitment. Interviews were no longer seen as formalities. Instead, they became strategic touchpoints, where each manager is empowered with modern recruitment thinking and behavioral assessment tools to better identify the best candidates.
Participants explored practical frameworks, including behavior-based questions, active communication techniques, and the "iceberg principle" - the understanding that a candidate's true potential is often hidden beneath the surface, beyond what is written on a resume. This new perspective enabled managers to look beyond credentials and dive into how a person thinks, reacts, and engages.
The workshop became especially dynamic during group activities, where NSN’s managers practiced real interview situations and handled difficult hiring challenges. Each question asked and each response received helped them broaden their perspective on the role of managers. They not only inspire, but they also understand how to recruit, develop, and retain talent from the first contact.
Discover yourself to achieve a breakthrough at work
The second workshop called "Decoding Yourself - Breaking Through Your Capacity," took place on June 24, 2025, bringing key staff on a journey of self-discovery full of surprises and depths. Through two scientific tools, the DISC model and the famous Uchida-Kraepelin test from Japan, they not only better understood their personality and personal behavioral style but also identified their strengths, limitations, and effective methods of interacting with colleagues.
The atmosphere of the workshop was filled with discovery and sharing. Everyone was surprised by aspects that they had never "seen clearly" about themselves and their teammates, thereby generating many new perspectives in managing and coordinating work more effectively.
Connecting - Understanding yourself - Understanding others
Though different in content, both workshops shared a common goal: unleashing individual inner strength, improving team quality, and spreading a culture of lifelong learning within NSN. What participants gained was more than just knowledge; it was a renewed awareness of their role in shaping a workplace that values professionalism, diversity, and sustainable development.
At NSN, we believe an organization can only break through when each individual understands themselves and their colleagues and knows how to operate together. That belief is the core value of our commitment: “Creating Sustainable Values.”
