On the morning of December 27, 2024, a fire prevention, fighting, and rescue training session was held at NSN Construction and Engineering JSC's headquarters. Lieutenant Do Vuong Anh of the Hanoi City Police, Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department led the training session. The event attracted a large participation of company employees. 

As a construction & engineering company, NSN considers the installation and acceptance of fire protection systems to be an essential component of every project. The company is always aware of the importance of fire prevention and fighting and constantly reminds each member of their responsibility to ensure fire safety. The training session is a clear demonstration of NSN's commitment and effort in improving fire prevention awareness and skills. 

At the beginning of the training session, Lieutenant Do Vuong Anh briefly introduced and showed NSN staff clips about typical large fires that have occurred recently, causing serious damage to people and property. As a result, it is critical to raise fire prevention knowledge in both businesses and daily life. Comrades were warned that asphyxia from broad poisonous smoke is the leading cause of death. 

Lieutenant Do Vuong Anh shared 5 main causes of fires, along with simple but useful lessons and prevention measures: 

1. Fire from electrical equipment: Lesson: Always turn off the power when not in use and turn off the power when there is a fire.
2. Fire from computers, phones, electric vehicles, and devices using lithium batteries: Lesson: Do not charge electrical devices overnight, use genuine products, and wear protective clothing when handling fire and explosion incidents.
3. Fire caused by cooking: Measures: Cover the pot with a wet towel to prevent the fire from burning stronger; Hold your head, cover your face, and roll the burned part to the ground.

5. Fire is caused by human consciousness (smoking, burning votive papers, etc.) or by intentional arson.

At the end of the training session, we were trained and practiced using fire extinguishers. This activity helps each person improve their skills in handling real-life situations.

The session is a practical activity, organized annually by the Human Resources Administration Department, demonstrating the interest of the NSN's BOD in building a safe and sustainable working environment.
