Hanoi, July 2026 – NSN Construction & Engineering Joint Stock Company (NSN) officially enters a new phase of growth in the fields of energy and green transformation. Nearly a Decade of Partnership – A Strong Foundation for the Next Chapter

In 2018, NSN and its Japanese partner, Sharp Energy Solutions Corporation, formed a consortium to successfully deliver the Phong Dien Solar Power Plant in Thua Thien Hue, the first grid-connected utility-scale solar power plant in Vietnam. The project marked NSN’s entry into the utility-scale renewable energy sector.

In 2020, the two companies officially established Sharp NSN Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company (SNES) to expand their collaboration into rooftop solar projects for industrial facilities across Vietnam. The partnership combined the respective strengths of both parties: NSN’s construction capabilities and deep understanding of the local market, together with Sharp’s international technology and standards, providing SNES with a strong foundation for project development and execution.

Over nearly a decade of collaboration, SNES has fulfilled its role during an important stage in the development of Vietnam’s renewable energy market, while establishing a valuable foundation for the Energy pillar of NSN’s long-term growth strategy.

The restructuring of the partnership model, effective June 30, 2026, is a natural outcome of the partnership’s maturity. The decision to adjust the collaboration model was a proactive step aligned with the evolving strategic direction of both companies, enabling each organization to focus its resources on its core strengths and long-term objectives.
