The journey of compiling and editing the NSN Employee Handbook

At NSN Construction & Engineering JSC, the foundation of our credibility with clients lies not only in construction capabilities or technical solutions, but first and foremost in our people, who work with dedication, responsibility, and a constant drive for innovation. The initiative to compile and publish the NSN Employee Handbook, led by the Human Resources & Administration Department, is a clear reflection of that spirit.

According to Ms. Thuy, a member of the project team, the journey to complete the handbook wasn't simple.

The team revised the document 9 times before reaching a version they were truly satisfied with. Each time they reviewed the draft, the team reflected the same question: how to make the handbook concise and easy to read, while still enabling employees to quickly grasp essential information such as company regulations, policies, and culture. At the same time, the handbook needed to effectively convey NSN’s philosophy of “TRUST” to every employee, especially workers at project sites, in a way that is accessible and convenient.

Perhaps that is why, when holding the handbook, many people see more than just an internal document. Behind its concise pages lies the dedication of the editorial team, who quietly invested time and effort to distill, organize, and translate NSN’s cultural values into clear, approachable content for every employee. 

What may appear to be a simple initiative carries a meaningful impact. Beyond being a handbook, it represents an important step in shaping and nurturing the working attitude and character of NSN people – the company’s most valuable asset in its journey of creating sustainable values for clients, partners, and the community.
