NSN successfully energized the 50 MWp My Hiep Solar Power Plant project

On 11/12/2020, the Consortium Sharp – NSN successfully energized the 110 kV substation of My Hiep Solar Power Plant 50 MWp. This is the fourth solar power plant implemented by NSN and Sharp Energy Solutions Corporation. So far, the Consortium has completed 194 MWp of solar power in Vietnam together.

My Hiep Solar Power Plant project 50 MWp

The plant is located in My Hiep commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province, with a capacity of 50 MWp, invested by Vietnam Viet Renewable Energy JSC and constructed by Consortium Sharp – NSN as an EPC general contractor for the project.

In which, Sharp plays a role of a technical design consultant, providing equipment including MS, PV Modules, DC cables connecting PV Modules to String Inverters, String Inverter and AC Stations; NSN is a unit providing installation, design, and construction of the following items: 110kV Substation –  a capacity of 50MVA, 110kV output compartment of 220kV Phu My  Substation and 110kV transmission lines with a length of 14.83 km, MV & LV Cable Systems, and construction of auxiliary systems of the plant.

Commenced on June 20, 2020, after less than 6 months of continuous construction, overcoming the difficulties of the Covid 19 pandemic and the effects of the long-lasting storm, with the efforts and determination of the NSN, the project was successfully energized before December 31, 2020. It is estimated that the plant will supply the national electricity system with an average of 82,506 MWh / year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of about 43,700 standard households in Vietnam.

At 10:03 am on December 11, 2020, My Hiep Solar Power Plant officially put its name on the national electricity map. This event which took place exactly one day after NSN’s 17th birthday is a huge gift, confirming a solid foundation for NSN to continue conquering the clean energy field, because renewable energy power plants will contribute to the national electricity sources, promoting socio-economic development in the near future.
