After 6 months of continuous construction, on December 22, 2020, NSN Construction & Engineering JSC and the Owner – Dohwa Green Energy Co., Ltd. successfully energized the 110kV Substation of the 49.5 MWp solar power plant which belongs to the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex.
NSN successfully energized the 49.5 MWp solar power project of the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex.
The 49.5 MWp solar power plant of the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex has a total investment of more than 55.6 million USD.
The solar power plant is connected to the national grid by 110kV voltage through a 22 / 110kV-63MVA transformer and the line connects to the 110kV busbar of 110kV Cam Lien substation.
As planned, the project will finish energization before June 2019. However, due to many objective and subjective reasons, including slow capital arrangement, unfeasible connection to the national grid due to the lack of 110kV Transmission Lines, and the delayed issuance of the FIT price after June 2019.
Right after the government issued the new FIT2, the Owner proactively and urgently coordinated with relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities, and together with the Contractor – NSN Construction & Engineering JSC started construction on June 16, 2020, with determination to complete and energize the project before December 31, 2020.
In which, NSN is a unit that designs, procures, and installs all the equipment and materials of the plant, lines connecting to the Cam Lien 110kV substation.

Overcoming the difficulties of the Covid pandemic and especially the impact of long-lasting storms and floods – Le Thuy is located in the center of the storm, isolated in the water for many days but with NSN’s effort, determination, and prestige to keep the project completed on schedule; the project was successfully energized at 8.42 p.m on December 22, 2020, recording the milestone of the 49.5 MWp solar power plant belonging to the Dohwa Le Thuy Quang Binh renewable energy project complex which officially has its name on the national electricity map.
It is estimated that the plant will supply the national grid with an average of 66003 MWh per year, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of about 27,500 standard households in Vietnam.

The 49.5MWp solar power plant project of the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex is meaningful to sustainable development, Korean-Vietnamese relationship, and the right direction of the leaders of Quang Binh province, helping Quang Binh province grow stronger. The 49.5 MWp solar power plant of the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex has been completed on schedule, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the country. This substantial project expressed the true meaning and enthusiasm of NSN, the investor, and the expectations of local leaders.
Within a month, NSN successfully energized 2 solar power plants including My Hiep Solar power plant and the 49.5 MWp solar power plant of the Dohwa Le Thuy – Quang Binh renewable energy project complex. This affirmed the solid foundation for NSN to continue conquering the clean energy field because renewable energy power plants will contribute more and more to the national power source, promoting socio-economic development.
