On January 21, 2021, in My Hiep commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam Viet Renewable Energy JSC held the Inauguration Ceremony of My Hiep Solar Power Plant Project with a capacity of 50 MWp, after more than a month, connected to the national power grid and operated commercially.
Vietnam Viet Renewable Energy JSC established in April 2018, is a member company invested by Wealth Power Group and NSN Construction and Engineering JSC to implement the My Hiep 50MWp Solar Power Plant Project in My Hiep commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province.
Wealth Power Group is a multidisciplinary investment unit, a pioneer in investing in renewable energy projects, real estate, tourism, agriculture with prominent projects such as Phong Dien 2 Solar Power Plant, Chan May LNG Project.
In addition, the investment partner, NSN Construction and Engineering JSC is a pioneer as a general contractor in the field of building renewable energy plants, with more than 350MWp of solar power projects implemented nationwide. NSN has 17 years of experience operating in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, with strong financial, technical, and managerial potential.
With the advantages of two major shareholders, Vietnam Viet Renewable Energy JSC inherits the outstanding advantages of NSN and Wealth Power Group, has quickly completed My Hiep Solar Power Plant in accordance with the international standards of engineering, safety, management, and quality with a committed performance ratio of 84.14% at the time of COD. Investment efficiency is high during 20 years of operation, contributing to environmental protection, green energy development for the country.
The project has a total investment of more than 1,200 billion VND, is built on an area of 58.27 ha in My Hiep commune, Phu My district, Binh Dinh province and the total installed capacity of the plant reaches 50 MWp. Application of Huawei String Inverter technology with 7 AC stations, 229 String inverters, and 113,624 mono half-cell 440wp PV modules with a conversion efficiency of 19.91% provided by Sharp Corporation – Japan.
The project was designed and implemented by Consortium SESJ -SSSA -NSN, which has experience in implementing projects such as TTC Phong Dien Solar Power Plant, TTC Ham Phu 2 Solar Power Plant, Phuoc Ninh Solar Power Plant and, etc. Besides, under the strict management and supervision of Bureau Veritas Company from France, My Hiep Solar Power Plant did not only get COD on schedule, enjoy the FIT 2 of 7.09 UScent / kWh but also ensure the criteria of safety, technology, and quality during 20 years of operation.
Overcoming nearly 6 months of construction and installation, efforts to withstand the challenges of weather and the COVID-19 epidemic, My Hiep Solar Power Plant officially energized on December 11, 2020. During operation, the plant will contribute to the national grid with 82 million kWh / year of electricity output, contributing to reducing CO2 emissions to the environment by about 54 thousand tons/year.
Along with other renewable energy projects, My Hiep Solar Power Plant will be a lever for Binh Dinh to have a new development step, gradually becoming the national renewable energy center. The project does not only contribute to adding clean and environmentally- friendly energy to the national grid system but also contributes to the socio-economic development in Phu My district in particular and Binh Dinh province in general.
Continuing the socio-economic development activities in the province, a representative of the Owner – Vietnam Viet Renewable Energy JSC awarded 1 billion VND to Van Thien and Van Phuoc Tay villages of My Hiep commune to build roads in the two villages, contributing to improving local infrastructure and the quality of social life of local people./.
