NSN successfully connected TTC Ham Phu 2 Solar Power Plant to the national grid

On 12 April 2019, TTC Ham Phu 2 Solar Power Factory was connected to national grid successfully by NSN Company. This is the second solar power plant which was built by NSN Company, following the first Solar Power plant in Vietnam- TTC Phong Dien in Thua Thuen Hue province.

 

The factory is located at Ham Phu Ward, Ham Thuan Bac District, Binh Thuan Province, which has the area of 54.2 ha, capacity of 49 MWp, and expectedly provides more than 70 million KWh/per year, was built by the partnership amongst 3 contractors: Sharp- NSN- SSSA. Specifically, SSSA responsibility is to providing equipment such as mounting structures, PV panel, DC cable from PV panel to SCB, vector group SCB and Inverter; Sharp responsibility is Design and Technical Consultant; and NSN responsibility is DC cable (from SCB to Inverter), AC cable installment and to providing the Auxiliary Work.

At 10:56 pm, 12 April, 2019, under the witness of Gia Lai Hydropower Company (a member of TTC Group), the partnership amongst: Sharp- SSSA- NSN, and Council of Final Acceptance: Binh Thuan Power Company (PC Binh Thuan), Southern Power Corporation (SPC), Southern A2 Load Dispatch Centre, TTC Ham Phu 2 Solar Power Factory has been connected to 110kV transmission line from 110 kV substation Ma Lan to 110 kV substation Ham Thuan.

It was an excited time when TTC Ham Phu Solar Power Factory will be in National Electricity map, contribute the success to National energy development strategy. The project is also the proud of NSN company, which is applicable to NSN mission “Creating a sustainable value”.

The success of TTC Ham Phu Solar Power project will be a cornerstone of NSN’s achievement in renewable energy sector, because in the near future, solar power factories will be the addition of national electricity resource, and drive the economic society development.
